Spíritus tuus bonus dedúcet me in terram rectam;*
propter nomen tuum, Dómine, vivificábis me.
May your Spirit lead me into a just land;*
for the sake of your name, Lord, give me life.

proper is a preposition which take the accusative. Prepositions in Latin take the accusative or the ablative case, and a few can take either. Propter means on account of, because of, thus: for the sake of.
