Inclína, Dómine, aurem tuam et exáudi me, * quóniam inops et pauper sum ego. Lord, incline your ear, and hear me * for I am needy and poor.

Inclína = incline, from inclino,are, to bend, lower, incline.

aurem tuam = your ear.

exáudi me = hear me. Or, listen to me. From exaudio,ire – to hear, to listen.

quóniam = for

inops = needy. From inops,inopis.

pauper = poor.

sum ego = I am. Ego is I, and sum is the first person present form of the verb to be.
