In mánibus portábunt te

In mánibus portábunt te. They shall carry you in their hands.

portabunt te = they shall carry you. Future tense of porto, are.

In manibus = in the hands, in hands. Often in Latin words like my, their, etc, are omitted. Latin is a language without articles, or at least it does not require them. When speaking English, natives of Poland will often omit articles, e.g., “I started car, and I drove down road.” This is because articles (words such as the, that) are not required in Polish, and this habit sometimes carries over into English. The native English speaker should take heed: Entire languages exist where these words are unnecessary. Although they may lend precision to speech, human thought and communication have gotten along fine without them for a long time.
